ROUTES - How to create a route
The app plots visual routes between two points (normally between your location and the selected station) and after defining the route, opens the browser (Google Maps, Here or Waze) loading your route to the destination.
Example:
Trace the route to your final destination by selecting the station on the map.
If you want to add more than one stop to your route, choose the station on the route and hold down for 2 seconds and the app will add it to the route (a blue circle will appear around the station).
Note: This feature only works on Google Maps. Waze and Here browsers do not yet support waypoints.
Select the browser button (bottom right corner of the screen) and the application will open your browser and take you to the selected station.

PRICES - How to update prices at gas stations
The prices shown in the app are updated by the users themselves collaboratively and any user can contribute to these updates through the app itself.

ADD POST - How to add a new post
Any user can report the registration of a new CNG station in the application.
The procedure is as follows:
In the top bar there is a white balloon-shaped icon with the "+" symbol. Press it and a window will open with the station's registration data to be filled in.
If you are physically at the station and have internet access, the address data will already be filled in by the application itself, and it is up to you to just check that they are correct.
If you are not at the station, swipe the map and drag the screen to the location of the station and position the icon over the station.
Press SAVE and then another screen will open to fill in the price and opening hours.
Press SAVE and that's it. The new post will now be available to you, and as soon as an application moderator checks it, it will be approved and will also appear to all application users.
DELETE POST - How to report the deletion of an existing post
To report the deletion of a post in the application, select the post on the map, then click on the blue circular button with the + symbol at the top left of the search bar, then press the DELETE POST button which will open a screen with the station data and two buttons to choose the type of exclusion (PERMANENT or TEMPORARY). Select one of them and then Enter the reason and confirm the deletion.
ATTENTION: Only report the permanent exclusion if you are sure that the station has definitively stopped supplying CNG. There are cases in which the station was temporarily without CNG due to some defect or various causes and in this case, only report the temporary exclusion.
RESET - How to clear app data
If your app is not working correctly, try the following procedures:
IF THE APP IS NOT CLOSING:
In the APPLICATION MENU itself, access SETTINGS and press the RESET button and confirm. (This will close the application and clear the data).
IF THE APPLICATION IS CLOSING:
In your ANDROID SETTINGS, access:
APPLICATIONS / CNG USA
Perform the following procedures:
1st - FORCE STOP / FORCE INTERRUPTION
2nd - STORAGE / CLEAR DATA / DELETE
3rd - PERMISSIONS / LOCATION (activate this permission)
RESTART your cell phone.
CONNECT BY WIFI
Test the application again.
TRACKING - How to disable background usage message
The GNV Brasil app monitors your GPS to detect when you are close to a CNG station and for this reason it has a background tracking service.
Starting with Android 8.0 (oreo), Google requires this execution message to appear in the phone's tray.
It is possible to disable this tracking feature in the application settings (disabling tracking and statistics) but in this case the app will no longer record your supplies or show statistical information.
BROWSER - How to change the browser used by the application
To change the browser, in the application itself, go to:
MENU (three dots in the top right corner of the screen)
SETTINGS,
Select the desired browser (Google Maps, Waze or Here)
Press SAVE
HOURS - How to change the opening hours of a station
The opening hours shown in the app are updated by the users themselves collaboratively and any user can contribute to these updates through the app itself.

TRACKING - The map always returns to the location where I am.
In the app settings (MENU / SETTINGS), disable vehicle tracking on the map.
BOLETO - How can I renew my subscription by paying by invoice?
To use other payment methods such as bank slips, you must have a MERCADOPAGO account.
Please access the following link and register:
After registering, add balance to your account, using the available options (lottery payment, bank slip, etc.).
When the amount/balance is cleared in your MERCADOPAGO account (it may take up to 2 business days to appear in the balance), access the application again and select the MERCADOPAGO payment method and GOOGLE will debit directly from MERCADOPAGO.
LICENSE - When changing devices, do I need to pay for the license again?
The application license is linked to the main email account that was registered on your Android at the time of purchase on the PLAY STORE.
To use the same license on another device, you must register the same email and connect it to the PLAY STORE.
SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION - How do I cancel my auto-renewing subscription?
If your subscription is on the PLAY STORE (Android):
In the case of an initial purchase of the application, it does not have automatic renewal.
In the case of subscription renewal, subscription cancellation can be done directly in the PLAY STORE, accessing MENU / SUBSCRIPTIONS.
When canceling, your subscription will remain active until the end of the contracted term, but it will no longer automatically renew.
The app will continue to work until the end of the term normally.
If your subscription is on the APP Store (IOS):
When you subscribe - not only to GNV Brasil, but to any service - through the App Store or using a payment method registered on the Apple platform, all management of your subscription is done through the App Store, using your ID Apple.
For this reason, it is not possible for us to cancel your subscription made through the App Store through our customer service.
